OMAHA TELUGU VEDIKA (OTV) is an organization formed to perpetuate, integrate, and assimilate the cultural heritage of the Telugu-speaking people of the OMAHA into the mainstream of the cultural heritage of North America.

Promoting the understanding of Telugu literature, art, culture, music, dance, and drama among the children of Telugu speaking people in OMAHA and their American friends;

OTV celebrates various Telugu festivals annually and encourages participation by members and well wishers at these events. OTV organizes celebrations for main festivals every year. OTV Membership is open to any one interested in Telugu culture or literature

Objectives of OMAHA TELUGU VEDIKA (OTV):
  • To preserve, maintain, and perpetuate the cultural heritage of the people of Telugu origin in OMAHA
  • To assist and propagate cultural, literary, educational, social, and community affairs of the people of Telugu origin in the OMAHA
  • To serve as a central resource for all Telugu related issues to the OMAHA community
  • To organize and promote Telugu cultural, literary and educational events in the OMAHA
  • To raise funds for natural disasters in India and US either directly or in cooperation with other non-profit organizations
  • Support, cooperate and promote relevant local non-profit organizations
